Claxton Co Pastor March 13, 2022 Beloved Butler Family & Bethel United Church Ipswich Dear Family, Our hearts were saddened to hear of the passing of our beloved Mother Butler. Please accept our deepest and sincere sympathy at this time of grief. I know the whole Butler and Bethel family, are devastated, heartbroken, and saddened at this time. However, we believe that in the life Mother “B” lived. The God we serve was ex- emplified. It may be difficult to do but the Bible declares that in all things we are to give thanks: not thankful for the loss but the life and legacy of Mother Butler. She was an example to us, always with a smile and something sweet, positive and nice to say. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was spiritual but approachable. I still remember the little dances she would burst into, and those little steps that only Sister But- ler can do. I also remember I had the extreme pleasure of Baptizing Mother Butler in the Name of Jesus. And sharing in some of those Spirit filled services at Luther Road. Those days when there would be no preaching, Just Praise and Worship. I trust you know and feel the prayers of all the saints who are holding the family and Bethel Church family up before God daily. As the days and weeks pass by we will continue to petition God on your behalf. He is our Comforter and he will sustain you in moments of grief as you reflect on your loved one. Sis Ruby, you have lost two great friends in a short space of time. We will continue to pray for you and ask God our Father to strengthen and keep you. Family I know you are griev- ing but God is able sustain you all in His great Name. We will always remember Mother Butler and her dedication to Bethel Church. She will be missed. May the comfort of our abiding Father sustain you and the family.
